Happy Halloween!

Hi all...well, I survived my first Halloween experience just fine! Mommy and Daddy took me trick or treating with Uncle Judd/Aunt Heidi/Jacob and Coleman. We had lots of fun and I was the cutest pink bunny you ever saw. I chewed on my carrot all night! Until I fell asleep of course...

I had my 6 month shots today and I am so big! I was 27 3/4 inches (off the charts!) and 16 lb 14oz which is between the 50-75% for my age. Looks like I'll be long and skinny:) I did, however, also get my first ear infection. I've had a cold for about a week with a cough and ended up with an ear infection. I started an antibiotic today so I was not in a good mood today but I'm sleeping soundly now! Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow!!

6 months old!!!

Hey Everyone...sorry it's been so long since we updated our blog. Mommy says she will be better about it:) I am such a big girl now...I am 6 months old! I like to sit up by myself and I even started some rice cereal yesterday. I like the spoon more than the food but that's okay. We went to Hilton Head Island for a week and I was baptized at the church where mommy and daddy got married 2 years ago. I was such a good girl and I enjoyed seeing all my cousins/aunts/uncles/grandparents. Mommy and I stayed with Grammie and Grampa for a week after the baptism. It was so much fun. The mamarazzi was in full force there...I think there are 400 new pictures of me but here are only a few:) Thanks for checking in to see how big I've gotten!

5 months old now!!!!

Today is my 5 month birthday...mommy and daddy say I'm growing like a weed! I am rolling over from back to front all the time now. I like to do that at night and then get stuck on my belly and cry for mommy to come help me. I've pretty much been sleeping through the night...and doing really well with it. Naps??? Not so much. I don't really like them...and when I do nap, it's usually not for more than 45 minutes, if we're lucky! But I'm really happy and fun to be around all the time!

I'm getting so much more interactive now...I have taken a real liking to my brother Porter (the dog). He still doesn't care so much about me but he makes me smile and laugh all the time. Mommy got me a Jumperoo recently at a consignment sale, and while it takes up most of our living room, I love to jump around in it! Of course there is video of that....

We are getting ready for our big trip to Hilton Head on 10/9...Grammie and Grampa are renting a house and we are going to go for a vacation! We are going to have my baptism there at the church where mommy and daddy got married. I can't wait to see all my cousins and get to spend some time with everyone at the beach.

4 months old!

Hey everyone...can you believe I am 4 months old already? I am getting so big! I had my 4 month pediatrician appt today and I'm 14lb 14 oz, 26 inches long (mommy thinks they measured wrong-we remeasured when the nurse left the room and it was 25 1/4) and my noggin was 16 1/2 inches! Dr. Hutson says I'm doing great...we had no issues to discuss today except how now is the time to really get rid of my swaddler. :( Mommy is sad cause this makes me sleep better but we are going to just do it now, suffer through a few bad nights and just get rid of it! And the daycare will have to deal with it too:) I love my little doggy too...I like to rub his ears and paws while I'm falling asleep!

I am smiley all the time...except when it is time to go to sleep. Most nights I go right down but sometimes I'm still a little pistol (that's what mommy says). I'm really close to rolling over...my arm keeps getting in my way, otherwise, I'd already be doing it! Mommy and daddy are so excited to see all these developmental milestones being met and look forward to each one:) They love me so much and love to make me smile and laugh! Our girl is now 3 1/2 months old and is really such a fun baby to be around! She is smiling all the time now and is so cute! She is doing really well at daycare and is really close to rolling over. We took her out of her swaddler this past weekend and she's done pretty well (though the daycare now swears by my swaddler and has used it still). We're just trying to enjoy every moment with her cause I know how fast this is all going by and she will be sitting up, crawling, and walking in no time...oh, and we are reading a book so we can learn sign language to teach her...they say it helps babies communicate and decreases frustration/temper tantrums. We're all for that!!!

3 months and getting big!

Hi everyone...well, I'm 3 months old today! I have been doing a lot of growing and probably weigh about 13 lbs now, at least! I've been at daycare for a week and a half now and mommy and daddy think I'm learning a lot! I can sit up pretty well in my bumbo seat and even in the past week (since my last video), I barely even look like a bobblehead doll. I am exhausted when I get home from daycare so some of these pictures represent my lack of excitement:))

Almost 3 months old!

I survived week 1 of daycare...once those nice ladies listened to my mommy about how I like to be swaddled for my naps, things went very smoothly! I come home exhausted at night and am only good for about an hour or 2 before I have to go to bed. I'm smiling alot now and love to "talk" to everyone! I just started sitting in my bumbo seat a little bit, though wobbly. I am growing so big and fast...next week I will be 3 months old. Can you even believe it???
